Your experience begins inside the aging cellars. Surrounded by oak barrels, you’ll discover the environment where A1710 rums mature.
Your guide explains how barrel selection, the tropical climate, and time shape the color, texture, and aromas of each rum.
Meet the Cellar Master
Next, meet Moéana Risal, the A1710 Cellar Master.
He shares his expertise and explains every stage of the aging process. You’ll also learn how he selects and evaluates barrels to ensure the quality and character of each cuvée.
Create Your Own Rum Blend
Then, it’s your turn to step into the role of a blender.
Under the Cellar Master’s guidance, you’ll combine different eaux-de-vie to create your own aromatic profile. Along the way, you’ll discover the techniques used to craft balanced and distinctive rums.
You’ll also learn about barrel filling and the artisanal bottling process that completes each production.
Enjoy an Exclusive Rum Tasting
The experience continues with a rare tasting of rums that are still aging in the cellar. These samples are usually reserved for the production team.
After a short break, you’ll move to the elegant reception rooms of Habitation du Simon. There, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of A1710’s signature rums. Each glass reveals the complexity, elegance, and craftsmanship behind the house’s finest creations.
