Description

Your day begins at 8:30 AM with a welcome aboard a comfortable sailing yacht.

After a short introduction and safety briefing, it’s time to hoist the sails and experience the unique pleasure of silent navigation powered only by the wind. Guests who wish to participate are welcome to help with the sailing maneuvers and learn the basics of sailing from the skipper.

Throughout the day, you will explore the diverse landscapes of Robert Bay, including preserved islets, mangroves, white sandbars, and turquoise waters.

Your first stop is Ilet Madame, famous for its beautiful white sandbars and shallow turquoise waters. Enjoy a refreshing swim while discovering tropical marine life such as colorful reef fish, sea stars, sea cucumbers, sea urchins, and other species commonly found in Martinique’s lagoons.

At lunchtime, relax and enjoy a friendly meal in an exceptional natural setting. Depending on conditions and group preferences, lunch is served either on Madame Islet under shaded facilities with your feet in the sand or aboard the sailboat at anchor.

In the afternoon, the adventure continues to Ilet Chancel, one of the most fascinating sites in Robert Bay. The islet is home to one of the last remaining populations of Lesser Antillean Iguanas, an endemic and endangered species. You will also discover the ruins of a former pottery workshop and a 17th-century lime kiln, important reminders of Martinique’s historical heritage.

During the peaceful downwind sail back to the marina, enjoy an afternoon snack while browsing educational guides featuring more than 80 marine species found in Martinique’s waters.

Carried by the trade winds and surrounded by the beauty of the lagoon, you will return to the dock around 4:30 PM after a day filled with sailing, nature, and discovery.

• Rates: 70€ per adult  (a deposit of 10,50€ is to be paid in advance. The remaining balance of 59,50€ is to be paid on-site, either in cash or by card)
  • 50€ per child under 12 years old  (a deposit of 7,50€ is to be paid in advance. The remaining balance of 42,50€ is to be paid on-site, either in cash or by card)
  • Children under 2 years old: complementary
  • Included:   The sailing boat excursion, the professional skipper and the masks and snorkels renting.
  • Not included: meal and transfers

  • Additional booking options:
    • Meal and beverage option: €30 per adult and €20 per child): made with fruits and vegetables from local farmers .
    • Example of a menu (changing according to availability of fresh products):raw vegetables salad as a starter, yam’s gratin, chicken, garden’s fruits and snacks. Drinks: homemade juice, local punches, coffee, still water, sparkling water, beer…. –  Submitted to prior reservation.
