Description
A Private Boat Experience in Martinique
Your day begins at the white sandy shallows of Trapèze, near Le Robert, where a floating bar will be set up exclusively for you.
Enjoy freshly prepared vegetable accras and homemade Planteur, prepared by your captain, while relaxing in the warm Caribbean waters.
We will then head to Chancel Islet, where your captain will take you on a guided walk through the remains of a former sugar plantation.
The islet is also home to Martinique’s endemic iguanas, which can sometimes be observed at close range in their natural environment. Your captain will share the history and stories of Chancel Islet, bringing its fascinating past to life.
Lunch on Madame Islet
Next, we will cruise towards Madame Islet, where your captain will invite you to enjoy lunch around a beautifully set table.
Your menu includes:
- Fresh lobster, unless you have an allergy
- Or traditional chicken Colombo
- Gratin of yellow plantain
- White rice
- Fresh local fruit skewers
- Traditional Martinican cakes
- Sweet pastries filled with banana and guava jam
After lunch, take some time to relax on the sandy beach and enjoy a swim in the Caribbean Sea.
A small walking trail also allows you to discover the islet’s remarkable flora and fauna at your own pace.
Discover Josephine’s Bathtub
To finish your private boat tour, we will head towards Josephine’s Bathtub, one of Martinique’s most iconic natural sites.
Cruise along the coral reefs before stopping in the shallow waters of the famous Baignoire de Joséphine. This unique sandbank is the perfect place to swim, relax and enjoy the Caribbean surroundings.
An Itinerary Adapted to the Conditions
Your captain may adjust the order of the itinerary depending on how busy the different sites are.
If a location is particularly crowded at the beginning of the day, the itinerary can be reversed. This allows you to enjoy a more peaceful experience and avoid areas with too many boats whenever possible.
For your comfort, the boat also features a freshwater shower and a spacious changing cabin.
