Description

Looking for the best kayak experience in Martinique? Spend a full day exploring the stunning Bay of Le Robert, one of the island’s most beautiful lagoons. From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., paddle at your own pace through picturesque islets, crystal-clear white sandbanks, and secluded Caribbean beaches.

This self-guided kayak tour gives you complete freedom to explore without a guide. Before you set off, Luc provides a detailed map of the area and explains the recommended route. He also shares local tips and points out the must-see sites, so you can enjoy your kayaking adventure with confidence.

Once you’re on the water, you’re free to stop whenever you like, take photos, swim, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

To make your day even more enjoyable, you’ll receive a waterproof storage container for your picnic, phone, and personal belongings.

Begin your adventure by paddling through the mangroves, one of Martinique’s richest natural ecosystems. Then head to Chancel Islet, a protected site famous for its historic ruins and the rare Martinique iguanas, a species found only on the island.

Next, cross the famous Le Robert white sandbanks. The shallow, crystal-clear water reveals vast seagrass meadows where you can spot beautiful sea stars in their natural environment. Every turn offers spectacular Caribbean scenery.

After your exploration, relax on a secluded white-sand beach. Swim in the warm turquoise waters, enjoy your picnic, or simply unwind while taking in the breathtaking views of the bay.

At the end of the day, paddle back to the starting point, where Luc welcomes you with complimentary refreshments and a light snack. It’s the perfect opportunity to share your favorite moments and reflect on an unforgettable day of kayaking in Martinique.

Before leaving, you can take advantage of the on-site facilities, including showers, restrooms, changing rooms, and free parking. A nearby shop also offers cold drinks and snacks if you’d like to refresh yourself before heading home.
