Description
Set off in the morning or afternoon and discover the stunning Bay of Le Robert on a self-guided kayak tour. Paddle at your own pace through one of Martinique’s most beautiful lagoons, famous for its idyllic islets, crystal-clear waters, and breathtaking white sandbanks.
This kayaking excursion gives you complete freedom to explore without a guide. Before you leave, Luc provides a detailed map of the area and explains the recommended route, along with the must-see highlights. With all the information you need, you can navigate confidently and enjoy your adventure at your own rhythm.
As you paddle across the bay, you’ll discover some of Martinique’s most remarkable natural landscapes. A waterproof container is provided to keep your picnic, phone, and personal belongings safe and dry throughout the trip.
Your adventure begins along the mangrove, a fascinating ecosystem that shelters a wide variety of birds, fish, and marine life. Next, head to Chancel Islet, a protected natural site known for its historic ruins and the endangered Martinique iguanas found nowhere else in the world.
Continue your kayak tour across the famous Le Robert white sandbanks. The shallow, crystal-clear water reveals vast seagrass beds where you may spot beautiful sea stars resting on the sandy bottom.
Then, take a break on a secluded beach with soft white sand and turquoise Caribbean waters. Enjoy a refreshing swim, relax under the tropical sun, or simply soak in the peaceful surroundings.
Finally, paddle back to your starting point, where Luc welcomes you with a complimentary snack and refreshments. It’s the perfect opportunity to share your favorite moments and relive the highlights of your kayaking adventure.
Before leaving, you can make use of the on-site facilities, including showers, restrooms, changing rooms, free parking, and a nearby shop.
