Description
Martinique’s southern Caribbean coast is renowned for its warm waters, excellent visibility, and rich marine biodiversity. Whether you are a newly certified diver or an experienced enthusiast, this exploration dive offers the perfect opportunity to discover the island’s underwater treasures.
Your adventure begins at Pointe du Bout Marina, where you will meet your state-certified diving instructors. On board the spacious catamaran, everything is designed for your comfort, including diving equipment, refreshments, freshwater showers, and a relaxed atmosphere.
Enjoy a welcome coffee or tea while the crew prepares your equipment and provides a briefing on the day’s dive. Once ready, you’ll set sail toward one of the many dive sites located along Martinique’s Caribbean coastline.
The boat ride itself is part of the experience. Admire the beautiful coastline of Trois-Îlets and Anses d’Arlet, the stunning Bay of Fort-de-France, and the impressive Carbet Peaks rising above the island. On clear days, you may even spot the neighboring island of Saint Lucia on the horizon.
Depending on sea conditions and group experience levels, your dive may take place at renowned sites such as:
- Anse Dufour
- The Nahon Shipwreck
- Cap Salomon
- Pointe Burgos
Your Exploration Dive
Following a detailed briefing, certified divers will explore the site either with a dive guide or independently according to their certification level and experience.
From the very first meters underwater, you’ll encounter a fascinating variety of marine life including tropical fish, colorful corals, sponges, and, depending on the season, sea turtles and other remarkable species that make Martinique a top diving destination in the Caribbean.
The activity is available for divers holding at least a Scuba Diver certification or PE12 equivalent.
Children may participate from the age of 8, depending on their certification and diving experience.
For Non-Diving Companions
Non-divers are welcome aboard and can enjoy the boat trip, relax on deck, swim, or snorkel using the masks, fins, and snorkels available on board.
A Relaxing End to the Day
After returning to the marina, unwind with a refreshing glass of traditional Martinican planter’s punch or a soft drink while sharing memories of your underwater adventure.
Combining exceptional dive sites, stunning scenery, and a welcoming atmosphere, this scuba diving excursion is an unforgettable way to experience the natural beauty of Martinique.
